living in the Village of Mervin

Nestled in North-west Saskatchewan, the Village of Mervin prides itself on being a welcoming community!  As a bedroom community of the Town of Turtleford, Mervin provides the amenities of living in an urban area without the hassle of larger centres.  Being located only 10 km away from a local health complex, schools, a Co-op Home and Agro store, and then the nearby lakes of Brightsand and Turtle Lake, Mervin provides many amenities for any demographic.  Easily accessible by Highway 26, this sleepy community is ideal for raising a family, commuting to and from work, and relaxing.

The Village has many recreational facilities available for residents to enjoy, such as the Mervin Golf Course that is a beautiful 9-hole golf course located south-west of commercial downtown in Mervin.  Many residents within Mervin work either in the Oil and Gas industry, the public service sector, or participate in agriculture within the region.  Mervin's cheaper costs of living and available amenities has been enticing new residents into the community over the past few years.  For more information about what development opportunities are available within the Village, visit the Planning page to view new subdivisions and available lots for sale.

Don't forget the local bowling alley and Hope Hall that hosts the annual Festival of Trees  to sponsor the Canadian Cancer's Society's "Trees for Life", are also available for entertainment for resident and visitor use and bookings.  Afterward attending these local amenities, be sure to visit commercial district and say hello to the baristas in at the local coffee shop, Bumbleberry's, and order a homemade bite to eat.
